People say that what we're all seeking is a meaning for life.  I don't think that's what we're really seeking.  I think what we're seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances within our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.
- Joseph Campbell

In life there are moments and events that knock us off balance and shake our confidence.  No one can tell what will be traumatic for us.  It could be about our work, our families, our health, the ways that life has disappointed us.

If we have great friends and family, sometimes we can get through with their help.  At other times, our problems may overwhelm our friends and family's capacity to cope.

At times like that, someone else, who is not in your personal circle of friends may be of help to you.  If you were going on an expedition to the unknown, you might take a professional guide along with you.  On the journey of life you may take someone along with you to listen to you and remind you of your wisdom.

Our work together will be re-discovering your inner resources and hope.
