To gain the most from therapy, you will have to work for it.
My role is as a guide and companion on your journey. When we are together I will be curious and ask you about your life
- past, present and your hopes for the future. Sometimes I may reframe an experience you relate to me because the significance
of a memory may shift when taken in a new context. At other times I will listen with the attitude of being witness
to your experience. Most importantly, I will make our time together a safe place to feel and talk about those things
that have no other place to be said.

How To Enhance Your Therapy
|
- Being self-motivated and ready to make lasting change.
- Valuing direct and honest feedback from me.
- Valuing and being willing to be involved with the family and community beyond yourself.
- Being willing to read and learn about how other people have successfully dealt with
life's problems and challenges.
Knowing the value of not missing sessions, and following through
on assignments between sessions.
